Crystal Castle

Crystal Castle is an enchanting tourist attraction, located 20 minutes from Byron Bay in the spectacular hinterland. Enjoy mystical statues, amazing crystals, jewellery, fresh food and great local coffee. Stroll through the beautiful gardens, including the ‘Buddha Walk’ where you will discover a breathtaking 4 metre high statue of the blessing Buddha. There is also a large kids’ playground featuring ‘Fireheart the Dragon’.

Kayaking on Brunswick River

Explore the beautiful Brunswick River by kayak. The pace is guaranteed to be effortless and the views stunning. Byron Lighthouse Walk and Whale Watching

The Byron Lighthouse walk is a beautiful walking track that takes in coastal cliffs, raiment rainforest and beautiful beaches. The iconic Byron Lighthouse is perched on top of the most easterly point in Australia and offers 360 degree panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding hinterland. There are also numerous vantage points to view the dolphins and humpback whales on their annual migration.

Bike Riding

Byron Bay is a great place to bring your bike. From Suffolk Park Holiday Park there is a 15 km network of mostly flat coastline bike paths taking in the national park and local scenery. The bike paths are suitable for young children and are a great way to explore the local area as a family.

Lismore Show

The Lismore Show is one of the largest regional shows in NSW and has been in our region for well over 120 years. This year, as part of the ‘Year of the Framer’, there are lots of free activities planned for children to learn more about what farmers do. The show will also include lots of animals, rides and, of course, show bags. This year the Lismore Show will also include a dedicated children’s ‘chill out’ area offering healthy and wholesome budget priced snacks prepared by the Country Women’s Association.
