Byron Bay Triathlon
The annual Byron Bay Triathlon returns on the second weekend in May each year. The two day multisport weekend includes a Junior Aquathon, the Triathlon, a ‘Run for Mum’ and Mother’s Day family walk. The Run for Mum and Mother’s Day family walk are both happening on Mother’s Day, Sunday 12th May. All money raised from the events will go to the ”Mummy’s Wish” charity, supporting mums with cancer. So get involved for your mum and to help mum’s living with cancer.

Byron Bay Ocean Classic Swim
The Byron Bay Ocean Classic Swim is on the first Sunday of May each year. The swim leaves from the stunning Wategoes Beach and follows a 2.5km course to Main Beach, Byron Bay. The event is open to all swimmers over 12 years of age and last year attracted over 2000 swimmers and 5000 spectators. In addition to the main event, there is also a ‘mini swim’ fun event which is a shorter 800 metre course from Clarkes Beach to Main Beach and is open to all swimmers over the age of 9.
All profits from the event are donated to local charities including Camp Quality, Westpac Helicopter Rescue, Breast and Prostate Cancer Organisations, Marine Rescue, Byron Bay Surf Club, St Johns Ambulance, Salvation Army and Early Intervention etc. For a copy of the entry form CLICK HERE to visit the official website.
