Please read the following important information regarding COVID

The Park is working to ensure the health and safety of all guests and staff is maintained. We want to address the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and share with you the information we have at the current time.

We are working to ensure our park remains a safe place to visit and work. The health and safety of our community is our main priority, we always uphold a high standard of hygiene within the park, however are taking extra precautions during this time.

We hope you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we also encourage you to use and support our park with confidence while it is safe to do so.

Remember is you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of the flu, cough or cold to please remain away from the centre until you are feeling 100%.

Update - 19/07/2021

UPDATE: COVID Restrictions effective 18-July 2021 

The NSW Govt has announced stricter lockdown restrictions for greater Sydney, including residents in the Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown and Liverpool local government areas, as well as the Central Coast, Blue Mountains and Wollongong, are in place until 30 July. 

In addition, people outside Greater Sydney, including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour cannot enter these areas without a reasonable excuse. 

The tighter lockdown is aimed at achieving zero new Covid cases. 

What about if I live in south-western Sydney? 

Residents in the Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown and Liverpool local government areas cannot leave the area unless they are authorised workers (including healthcare, retail, manufacturing, some types of transport, etc). Those who do have to leave the area must have a Covid-19 test every three days. 

 

Don’t Make It a Task. Wear A Mask. 

As per the State Government directive, anyone who leaves the home must have a mask with them at all times. They must be worn when you are outdoors, in our Park, in outdoor markets, outdoor shopping strips, and in an outdoor queue waiting for products such as coffee and food.

Update - 26/06/2021

Updated Mask and Check-In requirements 

As per the State Government directive from 6pm today (26 June) additional restrictions will be in place for NSW from 6pm Saturday 26 June 2021 until 11:59pm Friday 9 July 2021 

  • Masks are compulsory when visiting our Park 

  • You should call ahead first to confirm your booking 

  • Capacity limits apply. Please ensure the maximum number of guests or visitors in your party do not exceed your booking 

  • All stays require a booking 

  • Make sure you practice proper hand and other hygiene where there are shared facilities, such as bathrooms and camp kitchens 

  • You must use the Service NSW COVID Safe Check-in app to electronically register when you enter our Park

Update - 05/04/2021

Temporary restrictions for the Byron Shire were lifted at 11.59am on Monday 5 April.

You should contact us regarding your stay if you are: 

  • unwell 

  • have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or asked to quarantine 

  • have returned from overseas in the last 14 days (excluding safe travel zone countries) 

  • have had contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days 

  • have visited a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days or since the hotspot was declared (whichever is shorter) 

  • have been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting to receive the results (except for tests due to surveillance testing obligations) 

  • have COVID-19 symptoms of fever (37.5 degrees or more), cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, runny nose, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting or fatigue.

Update - 31/03/2021

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR GUESTS & VISITORS ❗ 

As per State Government directive, from 5pm today, Wednesday 31 March, the following COVID restrictions will be in place for the local govt areas of Tweed Shire Council, Ballina Shire Council, Byron Shire Council and Lismore City Council: 

  • Masks are mandatory in all public indoor settings - this includes the common areas at our Park, retail stores and on public transport. 
  • The one person per 4sqm rule will be in place at all public indoor settings. 
  • The number of household visitors will be capped at 30 people, this includes holiday rentals. 

These restrictions are in place until 11:59pm on Monday 5 April, when the State Government will revise these restrictions.    

If you have even the mildest symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose to please get tested. 

Our Park’s COVIDSafe initiatives and practices are still in place to ensure a safe experience in our venue. This includes the use and provision of hand sanitiser stations, social distancing measures and following the check-in process when visiting.  

We ask you to please carry a mask with you at all times.

Update - 26/03/2021

Update. Eased restrictions and Check-In requirements 

In line with the announcement from the NSW Government, from 12.01am on Monday 29- March, NSW will further relax its COVIDSafe Settings. This means: 

  • we will be moving to follow the one person per 2sqm rule
  • ​personal outdoor gatherings have been increased to 200 people

Whilst COVID-19 restrictions will ease, compliance must increase: 

  • Masks are not required to be worn, but please carry a face-mask with you at all times 
  • COVID checkin processes via the Servcies NSW app are still in place, please follow the directions of the staff when visiting the park

How to use the Service NSW app? 

  • The free Service NSW app is available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
  • You should use the Service NSW app each time you enter and exit our facility 

If you do not have a smartphone or are unable to use one, others in your group can check in for you or staff at the premises will be able to check you in manually.

Update - 25/05/2021

Important Information For Your Booking & Stay 

Our Park is monitoring and managing operations in line with COVID-19 requirements from the State Government and Australian Government Department of Health. 

We are open for and accepting bookings. BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment for the June - July and November - January holiday seasons.  

Health & Safety 

Social distancing (1.5m) rules are applicable in our Park. In addition, COVID-safe cleaning and hygiene practices have been put into effect to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members including increased santisation stations and guidelines supporting a safe stay for all.  

 Future bookings 

We know how unpredictable State restrictions and border closures can be during this time, and we would like to be able to best accommodate all our guests.  

When booking your stay, please make sure you confirm the cancellation policy in regard to COVID-19 with the bookings team prior to confirming your booking.  

Changes or cancellations must be made directly with our bookings team. The team is more than happy to help where possible.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members is our number one priority.

QLD Health Advice  
You have to wear a mask at all times, including when exercising. You can remove your face mask when you leave your residence if you are:  

  • eating or drinking  

  • engaging in work that requires clear communication or visibility of your mouth, for example teaching and live broadcasting.  

  • directed to remove the face mask to ascertain identity.  

  • You don’t need to wear a mask while outdoors at a safe distance from other people or if you’re doing strenuous exercise [outdoors].  

 
 

Exceptions to mask wearing are provided for children under 12 and people with medical conditions or disabilities.  
 

Rest assured, we will continue to operate with COVIDSafe initiatives and practices in place to provide a safe experience in our park. This includes the use and provision of hand sanitiser stations, social distancing measures.

Update - 08/01/21

As per State Government directive, we will no loger be accepting guests from the greater Brisbane area effective from 6pm tonight (Friday 8 January) until Tuesday 12 January.

This period is subject to change in line with revisions from the state government.

Due to this temporary closure, please read below what this will mean for you. 

By staying at home and limiting contact with other people, we can each help to protect the elderly, the at-risk, and healthcare workers and slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Your Booking
If you have a booking with us for dates included in this lock down, please call us to re-arrange your booking. Guests will have the opportunity to re-book for other dates, or will have the option to be provided with a partial refund/credit.

PLESE NOTE: We are not open to anyone who is subject to 14 days self-isolation. Guests are also not permitted to complete their self-isolation within our park.

Update - 5/01/2021

With the Coronavirus cluster in Greter Sydney continuing to grow, the NSW Heath department currently recommends delaying non-essential travel within NSW. 

Stay at home directions and visitor restrictions are in place for Sydney's Northern Beaches.

If this impacts your stay with us, please contact our staff to discuss your options.  

For the health and safety of our guests and visitors we ask that if you are feeling unwell or showing flu like symptoms to please get tested and not travel.

As a result of the growing coronavirus cluster in Sydney's Northern Beaches we ask that any visitor or guest traveling from this hotspot to please use vigilance and only travel if you and your family are feeling well. 

For the health and safety of our guests and visitors we ask that if you are feeling unwell or showing flu like symptoms to please get tested and not travel.
